Your young adult is just starting college but they are struggling with their independence and confidence. One minute they need you like their child again, desperately seeking advice, support and comfort of home. The next, they are pushing you out, needing space, wanting to just live their own lives. You are torn between wanting them to be supported and nurtured and wanting them to face the world.

Or maybe you are struggling to keep your family afloat while also attending to your own needs. Perhaps your needs are often overlooked or sacrificed in order to meet the needs of others. Perhaps it’s time for you to set better boundaries, to practice self-compassion and to discover who you really are.
